Find the fruit and eat it! an activity

Purpose. To explore the experience of shared leadership.

Procedure: The object is to find fruit and eat it.

You can have up to 12 participants.

Each person is to take a role. Adjust the roles to the number of participants. Only:

one person can eat the fruit;

one person can open the tin;

one person can speak and direct;

one person can feed the ‘eater of the fruit’;

one person is the distracter who tries to disrupt everything;

and so on.

Set a time limit on the activity.

Remind participants that the whole idea is to find fruit.

Carry out the activity.

Spend time talking about the experience.

Materials needed

Tin opener

Can of fruit

Variations. You can add as many roles as you want.
