Newquay Christian Centre is a church with a vision. We are people passionately committed to seeing positive, Christ-centred change, people who believe that, as Christians, we are not called to be a thermometer of society, but rather called to be a thermostat. We should be the benchmark, bringing healing, wholeness and life to all who we meet. Our heart is to reach beyond the walls of our building, out into the town of Newquay and beyond on a mission to demonstrate the tangible love of Jesus wherever we see the need.

A Youth or Adult? Project 2006-2011
H2O is the youth arm of Newquay Christian Centre and was initiated in 1999 to operate as a mechanism for the church to engage with the surf/skate culture that is so predominant in this seaside town of 19,000. The name H2O reflects our desire to bring refreshing and sustenance and healthy “life” to a town which in spite of its “super cool” image is in many ways barren in regards to the deeper and more meaningful issues of life. Working with the 12-16 age range our passion is to give these young people a clear, wholesome alternative to what is currently on offer. We are absolutely determined to work pro-actively in this area to have a positive input into these young and often vulnerable people, raising them to a higher level and helping them be the finest adults that they can be.
