Kintyre is a very rural area, covering 500 square miles, and a population of 13,000.  There is one small urban area, Campbeltown, and several small villages.  KYES exists to support young people aged 12-25 to enable them to fulfil their potential and to make a positive contribution to their community through access to information, training, detached work, and activities.
