A Youth or Adult? Project 2004-2009

The Rank Foundation's initial investment in a key worker's post in January 2003 had a massive impact on the project. Since then the help and support from the Foundation, coupled with Rank Seminars, has helped our project go from strength to strength.

From September 2004 Rank provided 5 years investment in our youth development worker. They are undertaking a Foundation Studies programme followed by a BA in Informal & Community Education part-time, by distance learning at The YMCA George Williams College.

A young person from the project has been given the opportunity to attend a Sailing Adventure around part of the British Coast as part of a Rank Foundation Bursary. He will be setting sail in August and we are hoping to have the chance to utilise these wonderful opportunities again.
