A Youth or Adult? Project  2007-2012 [JRT]

Street Level seeks to improve the life prospects of children and young people age 8 - 19 in Hoxton and the immediate surrounding area.

We seek to:

• Engage with children and young people age 8 - 16 who are at risk of exclusion. We do this on a one to one basis in the school, helping to improve and challenge negative behaviour, attitudes and future prospects.

• To engage young people out of school, during school hours who are temporarily excluded.

• To engage with parents and carers, helping them to build stronger relationships with their children and empower them to support their children in positive ways.

• To facilitate a model of detached youth work in the Hoxton area which reaches out to local teenagers who occupy the local area after school and in the evenings.
